Working for Marin Shakespeare felt like a true Elizabethan show in that the production team was involved with every aspect on and off stage.  (For example, Jim McKie, the amazing set designer, also designed the lights, built and painted the set, was the technical director and played Dr. Pinch.)  Kim brought me the fabrics and her designs and I measured the actors, drafted the patterns, sewed the costumes, and dressed them. We were the entire costume shop and wardrobe department, all shoved into an empty store space at a mall!
